RISE Basketballのインスタグラムではスタッガードスタンスについての投稿をいくつかしてきましたが、このスタンスこそがバスケットボールのオフェンスにおいて最も必要なスタンスといってもいいくらい大事です。このスタンスを覚えることによって鋭いドライブを決めたり、ドライブからのストップ、ピック・アンド・ロール、ドライブからのシュートなどがスムーズに出来るようになるので、是非学んでください。
スタッガードスタンスとは？
実はスタッガードスタンスはバスケットボールのみでなく様々なスポーツで使われるスタンスです。前後に速く動きたい場合に適したスタンスです。フィジカルトレーニングの現場においてもムーブメントトレーニングの一部として練習するもので、スポーツをしたことがある方であれば誰もが無意識に行っていると思います。しかし、さらに高いレベルでバスケットボールをしたいのであれば、スタッガードスタンスをしながらボールをドリブルをスムーズにしなければなりません。
まずはスタッガードスタンスがどのようなものなのかを見て頂くために、YOUTUBEから例を見つけました。
この体勢のままボールをドリブルするのがバスケットボールです。この意外にもこのスタッガードスタンスが出来ていない人が多いので、一度自分の動きを振り返って確認してみましょう。
バスケに適したスタッガードスタンスのチェック方法
スタッガードスタンスとはどういうスタンスなのか？出来ているかどうかをチェックしてみましょう。
✔足は前後に開いている
✔上半身が伸びていて、前傾している
✔前足に体重が７割、後ろ足に３割ほど体重が残してある
✔トリガーステップと呼ばれる後ろ足のつま先で地面を押す準備が出来ている
✔最も力が出る位置に足が位置している
如何でしょうか？正しいスタンスは取れていましたか？このスタンスを取ることによっていつでも鋭いドライブをする準備が出来ます。プレイ中には極力スタッガードスタンスを維持出来るようにしておくことが必要です。
スタッガード・スライドステップ + ポケットドリブル
さて、スタッガードスタンスが取れるようになったら実戦です。スタッガードスタンスを取ったまま前方へスライドステップしていきます。それと同時にポケットドリブルをするので少し複雑ですが一度慣れてしまえばとても簡単です。
- スタッガードスタンスを取る
- 前方へ進むときは後ろ足で地面を押す
- 前足と後ろ足の幅が広がらないように一定の幅をキープする
- 後ろ足で地面を押すと同時に、ボールを自分の“ポケット”の位置へ引く
大事なのはボールが相手から取られないようにすること。そのためには常にポケットにボールを収める“ポケットドリブル”をマスターしてスタッガード・スライドステップと同時に行う必要があります。
